Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Exersix. They govern your access to and use of the Exersix mobile application (available on iOS and Android) and companion website. By creating an account or using any part of the service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Exersix mobile application ("App") or visiting https://www.exersix.com ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website.

2. Description of Service

Exersix is a fitness tracking mobile application that provides: • AI-generated workout session planning via the AI Session Builder • AI-powered weekly workout scheduling via the AI Week Planner • Access to an exercise catalog of 1,300+ professional exercises • Real-time session tracking with audio coaching (exercise announcements, tempo counting, break timers) • Workout history, progress charts, and volume analytics • Subscription-based Pro tier with unlimited access to all features The App is available on iOS via the Apple App Store and Android via Google Play.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Exersix. Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) must be at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children under these age thresholds.

Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

One Account Per Person

You may not create more than one account for the same individual. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

4. Free Tier and Pro Subscription

Exersix offers a free tier with limited features (up to 3 sessions and 5 exercises per session). The Exersix Pro subscription unlocks: • Unlimited sessions and exercises • AI Session Builder • AI Week Planner • Full exercise catalog • Advanced progress tracking • All future Pro features Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and billed via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). All billing, refunds, and cancellations are subject to Apple's and Google's respective store policies. We do not process payments directly.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Exersix uses artificial intelligence to generate workout sessions and weekly plans. AI-generated content is for informational and fitness guidance purposes only. It does not constitute professional medical or fitness advice. You should consult a qualified physician or certified fitness professional before starting any new exercise program, particularly if you have existing health conditions or injuries. Exersix is not liable for any injury, illness, or harm resulting from AI-generated workout recommendations.

6. Audio Coaching

The Audio Coaching feature uses text-to-speech to announce exercise names, count tempo aloud, and signal the end of rest periods during an active session. This feature uses your device's speaker only. No microphone access is required or used. You can mute or adjust audio output using your device's volume controls at any time.

7. User-Generated Content

You may create custom exercises, session names, and other user-generated content within the App. You retain ownership of your content. By creating content, you grant Exersix a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content within the App solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Acceptable Use

Use Exersix only for lawful personal fitness purposes.
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract app source code.
Do not use automated tools to scrape the exercise catalog.
Do not share account credentials with others.
Do not misuse the AI features to generate non-fitness related content.
Do not circumvent the subscription paywall via unauthorized means.
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or other users' accounts.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property

The Exersix name, logo, App design, workout frameworks, AI algorithms, and all content produced by Exersix are owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Your Content

Fitness data, workout logs, and body metrics you enter remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store this data solely to provide and improve the service.

10. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Exersix provides fitness information and AI-generated training suggestions for general wellness purposes only. The App is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise programme. You use Exersix at your own risk.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.exersix.com/privacy) explains in detail what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights over it. By using Exersix you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exersix shall not be liable for: (a) personal injury or property damage related to use of the App; (b) reliance on AI-generated workout content; (c) data loss due to device or connectivity issues; (d) third-party service interruptions (Supabase, RevenueCat, etc.) IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EXERSIX IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App or by contacting support@exersix.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION]. Note to developer: update [YOUR JURISDICTION] before publishing.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
